Riding on a golden wave of Middle Eastern Nintendo beats into a sunset made out of subs, surf guitars and expressive Hebrew rap. Ryskinder channel their raging souls into an immersive Jedi groove of biblical proportions. They have played support for the bands Mac de Marco, Psychic Ills and Dirty Beaches.
Ryskinder (AKA Asaf Eden) started his musical journey in Jerusalem in the early 2000s. His trademark amalgamation of unabashed electronic groove with loopy Hebrew rap, earned him the nickname “sampler-songwriter”. Ryskinder released six albums on Israeli and international labels, the most recent “Zeev-Kinder” is a collaborative project with Zeev Tene. Other collaborations include Ram Orion, Red Axes, Assaf Amdursky, Amir Lev, and Hila Ruach. He continues to write and sing in Hebrew between Israel and Berlin.
