There is something nocturnal about Elana Snitman’s music. Her voice is clear, pure, almost angelic, but it also holds something else, something that resonates with the unsettling nature of the world – a haunted world, the world of creatures that exist on the threshold of reality, one leg in our world and the other leg in the world of shadows.
“This is a performance of songs from my upcoming album. Together with pianist and producer Raanan Amir, we created Industrial Pop songs that combine electronic beats with syntonizers with a “dirty” sound, and soft piano. The lyrics are in Hebrew and talk about a search, anxieties, loneliness, brokenness, and hopes.”
