Sedek Group was founded in 2020 by artists from the fields of music, sound, dance and performance art, with the purpose of offering a new model for a creative artist’s conduct in one’s society. The members of the group believe in creating a collaborative and collective space for artistic activity and aspire to establish a supportive infrastructure for original creation, collaboration and encounters with an audience.
For Musrarasonics the members of Sedek will hold a series of meetings with students from the school’s Department for New Music, whose work was selected through an open call, for a process that will entail a conversation, discourse, experimentation and guidance. The outcomes of this process will be included in Sedek’s prormance in Musrarasonics.
Alongside the student’s pieces, the members of Sedek will perform 3 original electroacoustic works, which were created out of the group’s collaborative efforts.
