The Zine Festival Collective will initiate an act of opposing the powers that be, using outdated practices like posters, pashkevils, flayers, zines, and other antiquated means. The workshop they will set up in the festival compound will allow anyone who wishes to produce protest mongering print materials.
The authorities’ faith in technology created a temporary autonomous zone (T.A.Z.), an island of freedom outside the empires, a no-man’s-land where one can operate freely, areas of no or outdated technology. For Musrara Mix, the collective will publish a zine in celebration of low-tech, targeting the existing and untenable order.
