The work’s starting point is the unforgettable photo of the falling man – a man jumping from the World Trade Center during the September 11 attacks in New York City, 2001. Captured and defamiliarized through the camera lens, it becomes an eerie image of an endless fall. The show that takes shape around the double of the artist in limbo is divided into scenes, like a play about the relationship between the live show and the digital image. Throughout the scenes, the content points to the mesmerizing and horrifying event, like a parody whose end and beginning are the infinitude of the fall, from the level of the image to the primacy of the electronic signal, which is at the core of every image.
