Ohad Fishof is an interdisciplinary artist working in the realms of sound, dance, and visual art. His body of work, a definition-defying series of time-based idiosyncratic art, includes performance and dance, video, installation and music. His works are regularly performed and exhibited in Israel and around the world.
His recent works include “The Talking Stick is Learning Hebrew” (performance, text, sound, video, premiered at 2018 Print Screen Festival); “Rakonto Kun” (dance and performance with Noa Zuk, 2019, premiered at CCA Tel Aviv, as part of the exhibition “Noa Zuk & Ohad Fishof: Works”); “Other Life” (video, 60 min., 2020); and “Content” (dance in collaboration with Noa Zuk, Batsheva Dance Company, 2020). In recent years he also released two albums: “Album 1″ was released by the Belgian label Entr’acte (2019); and “Boogie Beams”, together with Ilan Volkov, came out on the Russian label Stellage (2020).
In 2021 Fishof started performing with a musical solo show titled “New Songs.” This minimalist show is based on a cycle of songs written entirely in a short and condensed time, at the height of the pandemic, in a time of great change.
