The work is the product of a scientific experiment that the artists conducted in collaboration with neuroscientists at the Weizmann Institute of Science. The experiment examined the brain function of Israel’s 8200 intelligence unit veterans to a refusal letter written by their colleagues, which was printed in the media while concealing their identities. As part of the experiment, the artists planted additional information in the original testimonies.
