The musical duo Kuris/ Piro performs rarely and without rehearsals, in order to create a slightly different and challenging experience for them and for the audience every time – from the chaos of broken tribal beats and field recordings to the use of OAE (Otoacoustic Emissions) technique that creates frequencies in the listener’s inner ear. One of the pioneers of Jerusalemite noise scene, Sachi Piro has been active for years in various ensembles in Jerusalem. Yaniv Kuris is a graduate of the Department of Music and the Sound and Experimental Music Program at Musrara School. In addition to creating sound installations and editing soundtracks, he also released two albums.
