Miri Aloni
Miri Aloni became famous as a soloist in the “Nachal” military band in 1970 and was the feminine counterpart in the acknowledged Rock band “Acharit Hayamim”. Many of the songs she recorded, in over 40 years of her musical career, have made it to the Hall of Fame of Israeli music. Her performance of “Shir Lashalom” (a song for peace) with Yitzhak Rabin on November 4th 1995, moments before he was assassinated, is part of Israel’s history. The MusraraMix festival salutes Miri Aloni.
